Unauthorized Affiliation Claims

False claims of affiliation, representation, sponsorship, or approval can mislead consumers and interfere with their ability to make informed decisions about their case information and funding options. 

Baker Street Funding does not authorize any outside company, broker, lender, marketing company, or third party to claim it works for us, represents us, processes applications for us, or sends applicants to another funding company on our behalf unless we confirm that relationship in writing.

Any unauthorized affiliation claims may violate federal and state laws involving unfair competition, false advertising, business impersonation, deceptive trade practices, or fraud. 

If any company, broker, representative, marketer, or third party falsely claims to work for us, represent us, process applications for us, or send applicants to another funding company on our behalf, Baker Street Funding may take appropriate action.

This may include preserving evidence, notifying the company to stop the conduct, contacting affected applicants or clients, reporting the conduct to regulators or law enforcement, and pursuing available civil remedies for false affiliation, unfair competition, false advertising, deceptive trade practices, business impersonation, fraud, interference with business relationships, or misuse of Baker Street Funding’s name and brand.

When appropriate, Baker Street Funding may also refer suspected misconduct involving phone calls, emails, text messages, online forms, case documents, or consumer information to the proper authorities for review.

Baker Street Funding takes false affiliation claims seriously and reserves all rights to protect its applicants, clients, business, brand, and reputation from false, misleading, or unauthorized affiliation claims.

If someone claims they are connected to Baker Street Funding, please verify that claim directly with us before sharing case details, attorney information, medical records, settlement documents, or personal information.
